You would probably be expecting to see pictures of animals and such after a visit to the zoo. I wish I could oblige, but I have a Fuji x100s, and though ‘black and discreet’ it comes with a 23 mm fixed lens. And no zoom means no deal at the zoo, where animals are kept as far as they can get without actually being in their natural habitat. Still, I refuse to join the ranks of proud fathers with cannons for lenses and prefer to focus on capturing the intimacy of things and people close enough to an extended touch. And that means(but of course!) more family and the scarce animal portrait of any creature we were lucky enough to get at arm’s reach.
